MY VILLAGE IN MALAYSIA 1

My village is Kampung Timboi Dagang Kanibongan Pitas. It is located in the N 1 Banggi. The name was originally Narandang village. Narandang village has now broken into 3 units, is villages Narandang Darat, Narandang Laut and Timboi Dagang . My village is located approximately 21 km. Town of Pitas and 10 km. from small town Kanibongan where this is located in the small town guests, maternal clinic and child health, secondary school, primary school, and village police station. Search resources such as paddy fields is, to tap rubber, vegetables, fruits and others.

WATER SUPPLY

Water supply problems are problems that are not foreign again I do village. Water supply is available only from wells, rivers, ponds and rainwater own. If the rainy season, water from rivers, wells and ponds can not be used as cloudy. A handful of people who have water tanks less problematic when the rainy season. But for those who do not have a water tank, using only the former catchment such as jars, pails, etc. are very limited. During flood season, will typically takes 1 to 2 weeks without rain then the water level of rivers and water will diminish gradually clear. As for those who do not have a water tank Urinary Incontinence or no, water supply in reservoir or collected in the former limited, will not be sufficient within 1 week while the river water, swimming and wells still cloudy. There had to drink river water, pond or well water is cloudy after in reservoir resources have been exhausted even though that is still cloudy. Just as villagers who suffered abdominal pain diarrhea, fever and other epidemics due to infection occurred during the season. When the dry season is long, all sources of supply will dry anhydrous. I Forced villagers through the forest ravine and the trail sometimes extent 10 to 15 km. from their place of residence, to find sources of water such as lakes that still have water. In fact, all crops and livestock were also affected or destroyed due to lack of water resources. Sometimes I had to survive several days washing clothes or bathing water resources due to the distance quite far from the residence. This means villagers I always stressed problems of water supply throughout the year because of monsoon season and dry season will bring problems of water supply.

Examples of houses have water tanks

Also houses a state of weak in my village

ROAD

Distance from my village to SK, SMK and health clinic Kanibongan extent in the small town about 10 km. Distance that has not had a good road. There are 8 villages with an estimated population of 1,500 people who use the road than other road users from neighboring villages and government officials such as Department of Agriculture, LIGS and others. A narrow road, not paved, the drainage system is not perfect and the river bridges that are less safe to pass, sometimes fail to be passed during the monsoon season . Road plastered by the thick mud and large holes due to rain erosion and river currents, often invite stranded vehicles and not less of injuries. This situation sometimes occurs up to 3 months ever for to maintenance little or repaired by special machinery which is normally from the LIGS. During the monsoon season, not just school children affected even victims who suffered health problems that sharp, delivery problems, accidents, etc., can not be sent to the hospital because the town Pitas road conditions that can not be passed. In fact, sometimes there are victims who ended his life in the village because lying not get treatment immediately to the hospital. Marketing of agro products to guests Kanibongan this season also affected and so have not received the supply of basic needs such as rice and fuel is only available in the town because of road conditions that can not be broken or impassable. Accordingly, the road to my village contact Kanibongan small town is very necessary and very important for all people in my village.

KLINIK DESA

Health clinics are not available in my village. Only that there maternal clinic and child health in the small town Kanibongan the distance about 10 km from my village. The villagers I had to go to town Pitas approximately 21 km. distance. Problems arise when the rainy season, road conditions which can not be passed by the low-power vehicles such as minibuses and others, most people who suffering health problems, no health clinic the near to seek treatment early. Not surprising if the health status of people in my village still lows. Clinic Health Village is very important in my village.

ELECTRICAL ENERGY SUPPLY

We grateful and very grateful to the Malaysian government because now there is electricity in my village. If the first village I always sit in every night since I was 38 years old, now almost 100% of houses have been very bright when the night. If the public did not have television, now almost all families in the village that I have because of the electricity supply. In fact, not forgetting that also have electrical appliances such as ASTRO, refrigerators and so forth. However, when the Malaysian government announcement that homeowners who receive electric bills use less than RM20.00 permonth, do not pay the bills, rather disappointing because the staff only came electricity meter readers read meters in the village my 3 months once. This situation will result in electricity bills exceeding RM20.00 each bill and not every month, had to be paid by the villagers. Are so, if paid through certain billing rates will be doubled when the next 3 months. Electricity bill arrears problem should not arise and will not burden the villagers, if not a few things as follows: --

1. Delays electric meter reading(3 months)

2. Most of the villagers who are earning less than minimum RM250.00 per month

3. Road system for payment of electricity bills to the office that is often a problem In addition, electricity is often disrupted supply is interrupted.

Interruption of electricity supply is estimated to average 25 days a month with an average interruption duration time 30 minutes to 24 hours. Notice of the disruption, not obtained either through radio, newspapers or the like. This situation will surely bring a lot of damage to the villagers for all food stored in the fridge always corrupt (bad) due to the lack of electricity and often quite long. Retail store operators in small and Industrial use of electricity also often fail when the enterprise or the goods damaged or destroyed due to lack of electricity. Stability smooth and efficiency of electricity supply given to my village is required and must be taken to the relevant note.

CONCEPT 1 MALAYSIANS

Although the village I face some problems as I state above, intimacy, warmth, the spirit of the neighborhood, to mutual assistance practices in all business, still strongly practiced by villagers from my first until now. The uniqueness of my village is still holding strong with the practices and culture inherited from the village ancients, and various types of rituals and customs, still protected even though I made from villagers adherent various religious and national. Among nations in the village is like my race Rungus (most), Tambanua, Kadazan / Dusun, Kimaragan, Mixed Chinese, the Bajau sea and ethnic groups suluk. Religion majeroti in my village are Christian, Muslim and Pagan followed. Planning and prime minister of our slogan "People first, preferred Achievement" in to be translation idea Malaysia 1 to achieve the goals transformation a great country was our beloved throughout the region in Malaysia, is very timely in the dream and hope of all Malaysians Generally and especially in my village. Accordingly, our support for the Government of Malaysia shall not be shaky and will not be undivided, although waves hit the beach change, thunder in the sky fight, lightning rend the earth. Accordingly, we believe, we'll get STATUS village the same as in other places in Peninsular Malaysia which to be axis proverb "stand sit flush with low", WE ARE MALAYSIA 1.
